Lying Beneath the Wind (2019)
performance, sculpture, sound
An unembodied breath. An Empty Bed. Two cellos call to one another across the dining room floor - breathing. Upon a hill behind the house, a bed in the landscape invites us to sleep. Lying Beneath the Wind explores different ways of making breath within a landscape - and the resultant bodies that could hold them. Project executed in partnership with the Woodlands Trust.
